He is involved in research relating to acute and chronic pain management. He has given lectures at annual scientific meetings and has been a contributing author to “Pain Clinic Manual”.

Mr Karmani is now a consultant Spinal Surgeon at The Montefiore Hospital Hove, The BMI Goring Hall Hospital, Nuffield Health Haywards Heath and Nuffield Health Brighton as well as Spinal Surgeon for Sussex County Cricket Club.
He has an interest in all forms of spinal surgery and is committed to relief work having worked in the war zones of Bosnia, Kosovo and Afghanistan, with indigenous indian tribes in Brazil and children in Kenya
Mr Nirav Shah

Mr Shah specialises in hip and knee replacement as well as revision (redo operation). He is also very experienced in hip and knee arthroplasty which involves making a small incision to diagnose persistent hip or knee pain. He uses advanced hip replacement techniques that minimise surgical incisions and spares muscle tissue.
